1963: Patty Trossèl was born in Sassenheim (the Netherlands), as the youngest of six children.

1981: Patty plays keyboards, sings and composes in a band called "To-lips". They tour the Dutch club-circuit extensively and even get invited to do some shows in Colombia.

1982: To-lips releases the maxi-single "Desire".

1983: Patty quits To-lips en and studies at the "School of small arts" (theatre-school) in Amsterdam.

1986: Patty writes the music for the Dutch childeren TV series "Theo en Thea". Later this year she forms "La Pat", a nine-piece band, in co-operation with Tosca Niterink, as an exam-project for school.

1988: Patty finishes her study. The school wants to give her 2 important prices, but Patty refuses. She doesn't want to spoil the atmosphere between the other students.
La Pat does many concerts and make their TV debut in Holland.

1989: La Pat's first cd "Eine Frau fur die Liebe" is releases by EMI at the end of the year. It contains many different styles, from jazz to chanson. In reviews people often talk about "pre-war cabaret". Patty sings in French, German, Italian, English and Hungarian. To celebrate the release she performs in the Amsterdam "Kleine Komedie" for a week. The shows are being filmed bij national TV.

1990: In march a TV-special is being broadcasted, containing live-songs filmed in december, but also 3 video-clips, directed by photographer Erwin Olaf. "Keukenhof is being releases as a single and gets quite some airplay.
Patty tours the country, but halfway through the year she gets tired of it and quits. She wants to write new songs in a less theatrical style.

1991: Patty stays in Hollywood for a while, where she writes songs with composer Frederic Myrow. Later this year she releases "La Gabbia D'Oro": An Italian opera, written in co-operation with Peter van Hintem and Indera Nicolina, recorded and played live with musicians who worked with Tom Waits and Michael Nyman, amongst others.

The premiere was held at the Concertgebouw (Amsterdams most famous classical music theater). A tour through Holland and Belgium follows. "La Gabbia D'Oro" gets rewarded with the Edison, a famous Dutch music price.

1995: After a long period of silence the mini-CD "Witchwaltz" appears: 8 songs with a somewhat lazy, jazzy atmosphere, all in English. A tour follows.

1996: The CD "Gevleugelde Donna" gets released: Different styles and languages, for the first time Patty also sings in Dutch. The release is followed by a big theatre tour.

2001: Patty performs together with Istvan Hitzelberger, in a show called "Gracias a la vida". It contains songs of Mercedes Sosa and Ellis Regina.

2002: Patty makes a journey through India and returns inspired. She writes and records the CD "Lotusfeet", which contains all english songs, based on Indian poems. For the first time the CD gets released under Patty's own name.

2003: In the summer, autumn and winter Patty tours the Dutch theaters again. She performs songs from "Lotusfeet", but also some older work.

2007: Patty works on a new CD "Erinnerung". It contains songs in German: All composed by herself, based on poems, mainly by Rainer Maria Rilke. Patty does some try-outs in small theatres.

2008: De CD "Erinnerung" gets released early april. Some concerts follow. For the first time Patty plays the piano herself, throughout the whole show.
